Ansi Community Council Minute

Meeting Visitors: Yilan Su, Yingying Zhang, Aira, Xing Zhang, Hua Tan, Xiao Tan

• The chairman of the community council, Lin Su called the meeting.

• The program director, Principal Zhongjv Su stated the construction situation of sapling nursery and experiment forest over the past 4 years and the practical problem that the school building collapsed in heavy rainstorm and needed to reconstruct.

• Lin Su asked members to discuss 3 subjects:

• Whether or not reconstructing new buildings after finishing foundation engineering on the original school building site?

• The new building should be either flat or cave?

• The distribution scheme of ?4000 Yuan tuition aid fund for 2004 Spring Term.

• Members interactively discussed the above subjects.

Wanru Mao spoke: “The land foundation would be solid only if finishing all the foundation engineering.”

Wanjun Jiang spoke: “The foundation site must moved forward 3 meters or so because there was a ditch beneath the original foundation site.”

Lin Su spoke: “The school building will probably collapse again if we don't finish foundation engineering. I suggest reconstructing the building after raising more funds.”

Gaofei Jing spoke: “The cost to construct flat houses is cheaper than caves, ?2000Yuan cheaper each. I suggest constructing flat houses.”

Shengxiong Nuan spoke: “the time limit to built flat houses is shorter, it won't influence children's schooling for a long time.”

Shengfa Hu spoke : “Good students should deserve tuition aid fund, we also should reward good teachers.”

Wanjun Jiang spoke: “ we should not distribute averagely the tuition aid fund, and should reward students with good achievements.”

Wanlian Niu spoke: “The needy students into consideration, the tuition aid fund should help needy students.”

• Chairman Lin Su distributed <<Individual Vote of the Community Council>>, one copy each member. Every member filled in personal suggestion.

• Two members collected and counted the votes. Lin Su filled the results in <<Community Council Vote Statistical Statement>>.

• Lin Su announced the final resolution of the community council:

• To reconstruct the new school building after finishing foundation engineering;

• To reconstruct the new school building as flat houses;

• The tuition aid fund will be distributed to good needy students and reward good teachers as well. The funded people list will be discussed at the next meeting of the community council.

• Lin Su declared the meeting over.
